PMS 7738 C is part of the Pantone Matching System collection. This color has a distinctly vivid, energetic, and modern character, with a strong chromatic green appearance and balanced mid-tone presence. The vibe is assertive, fresh, technical, and visually forward, lending itself to environments where color impact and perceptual consistency are important.
PMS 7738 C appears as a medium-dark green, with LRV 30.4 indicating moderate light reflectance. The color presents a distinctly cool green hue with no prominent yellow or blue bias. Saturation is high, yielding an intense and bold effect visible from a distance. Undertone is clean, with minimal grey or muted influence. The color’s strong chroma can make it sensitive to finish selection; glossier finishes intensify its brilliance, while matte finishes may mute its vibrancy.
PMS 7738 C is widely specified in signage, trade show displays, branded retail elements, and marketing environments where a precise, saturated green is required.
PMS 7738 C functions well wherever a strong, visible green identity is intended, such as in branded spaces, display components, and marketing prototypes. Because of its high saturation, expect variable hide across substrates; additional coats may be needed for full opacity, especially over light or contrasting surfaces. Select finish (matte, satin, gloss) based on the desired visual impact, as reflectivity will shift perceived color intensity. Evaluate color appearance in the target lighting and environment to confirm suitability compared to adjacent greens.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The durability of spray paint matched to PMS 7738 C depends on several factors. Proper surface preparation, primer selection, and exposure conditions all influence performance. For outdoor or high-traffic environments, choosing a compatible topcoat or clear sealer can help protect color and finish. Always confirm the intended use and exposure, and select the paint system based on those requirements. Test on the actual substrate if appearance or durability is critical for your brand application.

Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
