PMS 7475 C is a Pantone Matching System color from the Pantone PMS collection, frequently used in marketing, branded display, and industrial design contexts. The color is recognized for its clean, cool, and muted blue-green character. It exhibits a subdued, technical, and contemporary vibe, making it a practical choice where a calm yet differentiated teal tone is required.
PMS 7475 C presents as a medium-dark color, with moderate light reflectance (LRV 17.59). The color has a distinctly cool tendency, leaning toward blue with a subtle green cast. Saturation is moderate and controlled, resulting in a muted appearance rather than a highly chromatic or vivid one. The undertone of this color is cool, with teal characteristics that avoid overt brightness. PMS 7475 C can be sensitive to finish; gloss finishes tend to amplify the blue overtones, while matte applications may emphasize the muted, greyed aspects.
PMS 7475 C is most effective when used for branded environments, displays, or prototype applications where a refined, non-flashy blue-green is needed to maintain visual clarity without overwhelming other design elements. It performs consistently under controlled lighting but may look deeper and more subdued in low-light conditions or when applied in lower-gloss finishes. Compared to similar blue-greens, this color maintains a more reserved character, avoiding the vibrancy found in more saturated teals.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

PMS 7475 C is a muted, cool blue-green Pantone color with moderate saturation. While it is less intensely chromatic than highly vivid Pantone colors, it can still require multiple coats to achieve uniform coverage, especially over contrasting substrates or when applied in lighter or lower-hiding paint bases. For best results, apply over a primed or neutral base and plan for at least two coats to achieve consistent brand color appearance. Always test with your selected finish and lighting, as gloss or matte applications can influence perceived coverage and uniformity.
If you are unsure which paint type or finish to order for PMS 7475 C, contact MyPerfectColor with details about your substrate, how the color will be used, and your appearance goals. The team can advise on the most appropriate spray paint, paint pen, brush-in-cap bottle, or other available format to help you achieve brand-consistent results. Providing information on lighting, durability, or special requirements helps ensure the chosen product meets your project needs.
To help ensure batch-to-batch consistency when ordering PMS 7475 C, always use the same paint product type, sheen, and application method as previous orders. Rely on a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample viewed in your intended lighting for approval rather than digital displays. For critical applications, document your approval process and keep paint samples from each production run to compare with future orders. Consistency depends on replicating the entire process, not just the color code.
No, using a Pantone PMS 7475 C match is intended for branding, display, and marketing use cases, not for touch-up on existing parts. If you require touch-up-grade matching for a specific product or material, the best path is to send a physical part or sample to MyPerfectColor for a custom match. This helps address any differences in substrate, original coating, or aging, which Pantone matches alone cannot resolve.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7475 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
