Color summary PMS 9225 C is a Pantone Matching System color specified for consistent visual communication across brand and marketing applications. It presents as light, subdued, and contemporary, supporting layouts without drawing excessive attention.
Color characteristics The color is very light, with an LRV of 78.48, and leans warm due to its yellow-green character. Its low saturation gives it a muted appearance, with a subtle yellow undertone that keeps it from reading cool or gray.
Practical application PMS 9225 C is effective in brand environments that require a gentle accent or background color to balance stronger hues. Due to its lightness, even surface preparation and consistent application can help achieve a uniform result, and lighting conditions may shift the balance between yellow and green.

One spray can of Pantone PMS 9225 C paint generally covers about 20 to 25 square feet per coat on a smooth, nonporous surface. The actual coverage can vary based on surface texture, how evenly you apply the paint, and the number of coats needed for full opacity. Vivid or saturated Pantone colors like PMS 9225 C may require extra coats for even, brand-accurate coverage, so be sure to plan your quantities accordingly.
Yes, the texture of the surface will affect how Pantone PMS 9225 C looks when finished. Smoother surfaces usually make colors appear brighter and more even, while textured or rough finishes can cause the color to look darker, lighter, or less saturated due to changes in reflectivity and shadowing. Always consider the final texture when choosing your paint format, and if your project is color-critical, sample the color on your intended surface before full production.
Pantone PMS 9225 C paint is custom made to order, so returns or exchanges are generally not available except for quality issues. Be careful to select the right product type and sheen, and request a sample when possible if the application is high-visibility or color-critical. This helps ensure the final result aligns with your brand and project needs.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
