PMS 667 C is a deep, muted purple commonly specified for branding or display where a subdued, cool-toned hue is required.
PMS 667 C (System / collection: Pantone PMS) is a dark, cool-leaning purple often described as reserved, technical, muted, and stabilized. The color’s low light reflectance value (LRV 15.27) gives it a strong presence on light-colored substrates without being overly bright or visually aggressive. It is commonly selected in environments demanding consistent reproduction and color discipline for brand and display applications.
- PMS 667 C appears dark, with low reflectivity (LRV 15.27). - The color displays a pronounced cool tendency due to its purple base and violet-blue undertones. - This color is moderately saturated, with a muted chroma that avoids a highly vibrant effect. - The undertone of PMS 667 C is noticeably cool, with subtle blue influences, resulting in a neutralized yet distinct purple. - This color may show sensitivity to finish, appearing deeper and more subdued in matte finishes and somewhat richer in gloss or satin.
PMS 667 C works well when a deep, professional purple is required for brand-driven display, signage, or marketing elements, particularly where subtlety and discipline are priorities. It should be evaluated in the intended lighting and finish, as low LRV colors can become visually recessive or lose subtlety under low or warm light. Compared to similar purples, this color is less overtly saturated and more cool-leaning; it stands apart from warmer violets and brighter royal or magenta purples.
Similar colors:
PMS 668 C – Slightly lighter and marginally warmer, introducing more magenta influence.
PMS 668 XGC – Similar in hue but lower in chromatic intensity, resulting in a more subdued effect.
PMS 669 C – Noticeably darker and more neutral, reducing visible chroma.
PMS 2597 C – More vibrant, with higher chroma and a more overt blue-violet character.

Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
