To get a consistent finish with PMS 569 C, plan your application to avoid patchiness or visible lines. Mix enough paint for the entire area to ensure batch uniformity. Apply each coat evenly and complete one section at a time without stopping mid-panel. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next. PMS 569 C is a deep, saturated color, so using a quality primer and applying additional coats as needed can help achieve solid coverage and uniformity, especially on light or high-contrast substrates.

The texture of the surface influences how PMS 569 C looks once applied. Smooth or glossy finishes tend to make the color appear deeper and more vibrant, while matte or rough textures can mute the hue and make it look slightly lighter or less saturated. Variations in surface texture will also impact how light reflects and shadows appear, which may affect the uniformity and visual consistency of the color. Always check a sample of PMS 569 C in the actual finish and under expected lighting conditions before final use.

Pantone PMS 569 C is intended for brand color reproduction and visually consistent displays, not for precise touch-up or repair work. For touch-up-grade matching, you should send a physical part to be matched instead of relying solely on a Pantone reference. This approach helps account for variables such as substrate, finish, and aging, which can all influence the perceived color. Use PMS 569 C when the primary goal is brand color accuracy across new displays or prototypes, not repairing existing items.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
