Pantone™ PMS 5645 C

PMS 5645 C is defined within the Pantone Matching System and is used as a color target for brand consistency. Most paint brands have unique palettes, and there is no exact or universal conversion from PMS 5645 C to other brands' colors. Attempting to cross-reference may result in visible differences, especially with nuanced or muted tones. For branded applications or visual accuracy, it is important to specify PMS 5645 C directly and avoid substituting a different manufacturer's code.

PMS 5645 C paint is made to order, so typical lead time depends on the selected product type and current production volume. Spray paint and related formats generally require several business days for formulation and production before shipping. For urgent projects, it is best to order early and allow additional time for custom mixing and quality checks, especially if multiple containers or specialty finishes are required.

PMS 5645 C is often specified as a brand color for signage, displays, and exhibits. It provides a consistent color target across vendors and substrates. Fabricators commonly use paint matched to PMS 5645 C for panels, structures, and components where uniform brand appearance is required. Evaluating samples on the actual substrate and in the intended lighting ensures visual alignment with brand expectations before full production.

PMS 5645 C is matched to serve as a brand color reference for new fabrication or marketing uses. If your goal is to match an existing product for close-up or seamless touch-up, it is best to send a physical sample of the part for precise color matching. This ensures the new coating accounts for aging, texture, and finish, which a standard PMS 5645 C reference alone cannot replicate for spot blending.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
