Pantone™ PMS 545 C

When specifying Pantone PMS 545 C for a pop-up or retail installation, evaluate durability needs, lighting conditions, and surface type. Test the color in your actual environment using a sample to confirm that PMS 545 C appears as intended under both natural and artificial light. Consider the impact of finish; glossier finishes may make the color appear brighter, while matte will create a softer effect. For large or high-traffic installations, use a paint format designed for the appropriate level of wear.

For interior projects with PMS 545 C, choose interior paint options such as custom spray paint, paint pens, or brush-in-cap bottles, matched to your substrate and display type. For exterior branding or signage, select exterior-rated paints or coatings to withstand weather and UV exposure. Always match product type to the environment and performance needs of your installation to maintain brand color consistency over time.

Pantone PMS 545 C can appear different across materials due to differences in absorption, texture, and reflectivity. For example, the color may look brighter and crisper on metal than on uncoated wood or textured plastic. To ensure the intended visual result, evaluate the color on the same substrate that will be used in your final build and under the lighting conditions where the display or installation will be viewed.

Order a small sample of PMS 545 C in your target finish and apply it to the intended substrate before committing to a full order. Present the sample for brand approvals under the actual lighting where the finished installation will be located. This helps confirm the color appearance and finish meet brand requirements and avoids costly changes after final production.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
