PMS 325 C is a Pantone Matching System color recognized within the Pantone PMS collection. The color presents as a clean, fresh, and contemporary blue-green with a notably cool undertone. Its visual effect is crisp and lively, giving a modern and energetic vibe suited to environments where brand clarity and distinction are prioritized.

- PMS 325 C demonstrates a light to medium reflectance, with a measured LRV of 45.16. - The color leans distinctly cool due to its blue-green hue basis. - PMS 325 C has a moderately high saturation, producing strong chromatic presence without appearing overly neon. - This color presents a balanced mix of blue and green, with a subtle aqua undertone visible under most lighting conditions. - The appearance of PMS 325 C may shift slightly depending on the gloss level; higher sheens can amplify vibrancy and apparent depth.

PMS 325 C is often used when a highly recognizable, vivid blue-green is required in branded spaces or products. Consider this color for environments needing a sense of clarity and freshness, but always compare physical samples under intended lighting conditions, as its cool chromaticity may shift subtly with surrounding colors or under different finishes. When compared to other blue-greens, PMS 325 C provides a more assertive, contemporary feel without heavy green or teal emphasis.

This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 325 C

How can I accurately compare a PMS 325 C paint sample for brand approval?

To compare a PMS 325 C paint sample for brand approval, use a physical Pantone guide as your reference whenever possible. Assess both the reference and your painted sample under the same lighting conditions and on similar substrates. Allow all coatings on the sample to dry and cure completely before making a decision, as color appearance can shift during drying. These steps help ensure visual accuracy for brand standards.

How does finish or sheen affect how Pantone PMS 325 C appears when applied?

The finish or sheen you choose for PMS 325 C can significantly affect its appearance. Gloss and satin finishes tend to make this blue-green color look brighter and more saturated, amplifying its vibrancy. Matte finishes will soften the color, making it appear lighter and less intense. Always evaluate actual painted samples in the intended finish and environment to ensure you achieve your desired brand presentation.

Do I need a primer before applying Pantone PMS 325 C paint?

Whether you need a primer for PMS 325 C depends on the substrate, the paint type, and the project's demands. Primers are recommended for bare, porous, or otherwise unfinished surfaces to ensure better adhesion and even coverage, which is especially important with saturated colors like PMS 325 C. If covering existing coatings, evaluate for compatibility and consider a primer if changing from a dark to light color or vice versa. Check paint manufacturer guidance for specific surfaces if you are unsure.

What should I know about shipping times for Pantone PMS 325 C paint orders?

Shipping transit times for PMS 325 C paint orders depend on your location and the selected shipping method. Order processing and shipping together will determine overall delivery timing, so always allow extra time if you are working with fixed launch or installation dates. Review shipping options carefully during checkout and plan ahead to avoid last-minute delays for brand or marketing schedules.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 325 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 325 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. We do our best to make sure you get your paint on time. Learn more about paint lead times at MyPerfectColor.
Can I use the Pantone PMS 325 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 325 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
