Pantone™ PMS 319 C

Pantone PMS 319 C can be ordered in several paint formats, including custom spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, and a range of coating types such as interior and exterior housepaint, epoxy, and urethane where available. Choose the format that best suits your specific project needs. For temporary displays or prototypes, spray paint or pens may offer precision and speed. For permanent installations, select a coating designed for the intended surface and environment.

Pantone PMS 319 C is a standardized color in the Pantone Matching System and does not reliably convert to other paint companies' color codes. Each paint brand uses its own palette and mixing process, so cross-referencing is rarely exact, especially for vivid colors like PMS 319 C. If your brand or project calls for PMS 319 C, order products specifically formulated to match this Pantone reference rather than choosing a so-called close equivalent from another brand.

Safety requirements for paint matched to Pantone PMS 319 C depend on the product format you select, such as spray paint, epoxy, or housepaint. Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for your specific product and follow all instructions for safe use, storage, and disposal. When specifying PMS 319 C, select a paint product formulated for the environment where it will be used. For indoor applications like displays or fabricated fixtures, an interior-grade paint is normally sufficient. For outdoor or exposed installations, choose an exterior-rated product to ensure durability and color retention. Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
