PMS 2613 C is a standardized brand color in the Pantone Matching System (PMS) collection. This color projects a bold, saturated, and contemporary vibe with a technical and distinctive character. It is primarily utilized in professional branding, display fabrication, and identity systems where exact color replication and consistent appearance are necessary across various materials and lighting conditions.
PMS 2613 C appears quite dark, with an LRV of 4.42 indicating low reflectance. The color reads as notably cool on the spectrum, with clear purple-violet orientation. The color possesses high saturation, providing strong chromatic intensity. Undertones of blue are visible, contributing to the color’s cool and modern perception. The appearance may be sensitive to finish; higher gloss can amplify saturation and perceived depth, while matte finishes may soften intensity.
PMS 2613 C is often used in corporate identity systems for signage, display, and branded environments where strong recognition is required. The color is frequently specified for marketing installations, event activations, and branded prototyping where consistency with brand guidelines is essential.
PMS 2613 C performs well when the objective is a high-visibility, branded, or theme-driven color accent. It should be tested on intended surfaces and under final lighting conditions, as vivid purples can shift perceptually under warm or cool lighting and may exhibit variance depending on surface texture and gloss. Proper substrate preparation is important to achieve uniform coverage, particularly on light or uneven backgrounds, as deep, saturated colors may require additional coats for opacity. Relative to other similar purples, PMS 2613 C will read as deeper and cooler, maintaining intensity where lighter or redder purples may appear softer or warmer.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The appearance of Pantone PMS 2613 C can shift depending on the texture of the surface. Smooth surfaces with higher gloss will reflect more light and can make PMS 2613 C appear deeper and more saturated. Matte or textured finishes tend to scatter light, softening the intensity and sometimes making the color look slightly lighter or less saturated. For brand consistency, always test PMS 2613 C in both the intended finish and on the actual substrate, as texture can significantly influence the perceived result.
Sampling PMS 2613 C is strongly recommended for high-visibility branding projects, large display installations, or any application where color approval is critical. If you are working with unfamiliar substrates, unusual finishes, or specific site lighting, testing a paint sample will help confirm that PMS 2613 C delivers the expected brand appearance. This step helps identify any unexpected shifts in color due to surface or lighting and can prevent rework or approval delays later.
The Pantone PMS book provides a print standard for PMS 2613 C, but paint can appear different due to finish and substrate. Factors like gloss level, surface texture, and lighting will affect how the color looks on a physical object versus on paper. For consistent results, compare painted samples of PMS 2613 C under the same conditions where the final product will be displayed, and evaluate acceptance using both the Pantone reference and an actual paint sample.
One spray can of PMS 2613 C paint typically covers about 20 to 25 square feet per coat on smooth, nonporous surfaces. However, highly saturated colors like PMS 2613 C may require multiple coats, especially over light or uneven backgrounds. Surface texture and absorbency can reduce coverage. To estimate quantity needed, consider the total surface area, plan for two or more coats for full opacity, and allow extra paint if you are working with textured or light-colored substrates.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2613 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
