Custom-matched products require production time before shipping, so factor both production and transit when scheduling brand installations or marketing events. For time-sensitive projects, it is best to plan ahead and select expedited shipping if needed, to help ensure on-time delivery for your application of PMS 232 C.

Pantone PMS 232 C is frequently chosen for prototypes and concept models where visual consistency with brand standards is important. When selecting a paint format for PMS 232 C, consider the substrate and intended display environment, such as choosing spray paint for large surfaces or paint pens for detail work. Evaluate prototypes under representative lighting to confirm that PMS 232 C maintains the intended visual impact and matches your brand reference. Highly saturated colors like this may need multiple coats for even coverage on prototypes.

A typical can of PMS 232 C spray paint covers about 20 to 25 square feet per coat on a smooth, primed surface. Because PMS 232 C is a highly saturated magenta, more coats may be required for full uniform coverage, especially over dark or contrasting backgrounds. Surface texture, paint color underneath, and application technique can all affect the total coverage, so it is wise to allow for extra material to avoid running out before your project is complete.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
