PMS 1775 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection, used as a color standard in professional branding and identity contexts. The color presents as a lively, energetic pink, with a moderately light appearance and noticeable warmth. The overall vibe is optimistic, bold, attention-grabbing, and youthful, making it suitable for high-visibility marketing and display applications.

PMS 1775 C has a mid-light value, as indicated by an LRV of 40.75. The color exhibits a distinctly warm tendency, leaning toward the red-orange segment of the pink spectrum. PMS 1775 C is highly saturated, resulting in a vivid, prominent appearance. This color has a pronounced red undertone, with a perceptible touch of orange influence. The appearance of PMS 1775 C is somewhat sensitive to finish; gloss levels can intensify its vibrancy, while matte finishes may soften its impact.

PMS 1775 C works well in environments where a strong, warm pink is needed to capture attention or reinforce brand presence with a youthful or inviting energy. For best results, evaluate color appearance under the specific lighting and with the chosen finish, as both can significantly affect vibrancy and perceived warmth. High saturation may reduce hide, so adequate priming and multiple coats could be required to achieve uniform coverage, especially over contrasting substrates. Compared to similar hues, this color appears more vivid and slightly warmer, but may display varying intensity depending on material and lighting.

PMS 1767 C – Lighter and less saturated, providing a softer pink that is less intense than PMS 1775 C.

PMS 1787 C – Darker and more chromatic, offering a deeper and more vivid pink-red than PMS 1775 C.

PMS 1777 C – Slightly cooler, with a less pronounced warm/red undertone and a bit more neutrality in pinkness.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 1775 C

How is Pantone PMS 1775 C paint used for prototype and concept model workflows?

Pantone PMS 1775 C paint is often used in prototyping and concept models to achieve accurate brand color representation before final production. Using a standard like PMS 1775 C ensures that visual evaluation and brand alignment are based on a recognized color reference. For prototype workflows, it is recommended to select a paint format that matches expected end-use application, such as spray paint for even coverage or house paint for larger panels. Viewing prototypes under project-specific lighting and with the chosen finish, whether matte or gloss, helps teams evaluate vibrancy and warmth as they will appear in real use. Adequate priming and multiple coats may be needed to achieve uniform coverage, especially for highly saturated colors like PMS 1775 C.

What steps should I follow to order Pantone PMS 1775 C paint from MyPerfectColor?

To order paint matched to Pantone PMS 1775 C on MyPerfectColor, start by selecting the desired paint type, such as spray paint, paint pen, or house paint. Next, choose the sheen (matte or gloss) that best fits your project requirements. Specify the quantity needed and select any additional options shown. Before finalizing the order, confirm that PMS 1775 C is the color required by your brand standards or project brief. Review your selections to ensure they match your intended application and submit your order. For highly saturated colors like PMS 1775 C, consider ordering a sample for evaluation when precise color appearance is mission-critical.

Why does licensed reproduction matter for Pantone PMS 1775 C paint?

Pantone PMS 1775 C is a standardized color reference used in professional branding. Licensed reproduction ensures that the paint is formulated to meet the precise color target as defined by Pantone, rather than being an approximation. MyPerfectColor is authorized to reproduce Pantone PMS colors in paint, providing confidence that PMS 1775 C meets the expected standard. This helps maintain brand consistency and reduces the risk of color variation between components, which is especially important for high-visibility branding and display applications.

How should I choose between matte and gloss finishes for Pantone PMS 1775 C paint in a branding project?

Choosing between matte and gloss finishes for Pantone PMS 1775 C depends on the desired visual impact and context of your branding project. Gloss finishes increase punch and saturation, making PMS 1775 C appear more vibrant and attention-grabbing, but can also introduce glare under strong lighting or from certain viewing angles. Matte finishes reduce glare and soften the color's appearance, which may be preferred for close-up or controlled environments. Evaluate the lighting and typical viewing distance for your application before deciding. If possible, test both finishes to see which best supports your brand presentation for PMS 1775 C in your actual display environment.

Can I use the Pantone PMS 1775 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
