PMS 1575 C is part of the Pantone PMS collection, a standardized system used for color specification in professional branding, environments, and production. This color conveys a vivid, energetic, and approachable vibe. Its appearance is saturated and moderately light, presenting a bold yet accessible impression suitable for high-visibility and attention-grabbing contexts.

PMS 1575 C has a light to medium lightness (LRV 40.75). The color presents a distinctly warm tendency. PMS 1575 C is highly saturated, resulting in a vivid and impactful presence. The undertone leans toward a yellow-orange, giving it a bright, sunny feel. This color may exhibit perceptible variance in gloss versus matte finishes, with higher sheen amplifying vibrancy.

PMS 1575 C is frequently specified in signage, retail displays, pop-up activations, and trade show graphics where warmth and high visibility are desired. This color may be called for in prototype development to represent energetic or youth-focused brand palettes.

PMS 1575 C performs effectively when maximum attention and warmth are required in brand-facing or customer-interactive environments. When replicating this color, preview in the intended lighting conditions, as both finish and illumination influence saturation and yellow-orange undertone perception. Compared to similar Pantone oranges, PMS 1575 C is more vivid and less muted; ensure adequate substrate prep for clean coverage, as its high chroma may require additional coats for full hide.

Similar colors:
PMS 1585 C – Slightly deeper and more orange-red, resulting in a darker and stronger appearance.

PMS 1505 C – Lighter, with higher yellow content, appearing softer and less saturated.

PMS 172 C – Redder and deeper, shifting the impression to a more assertive, less playful orange.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 1575 C

Why is Pantone PMS 1575 C often specified for sign, display, or exhibit fabrication projects?

Pantone PMS 1575 C is frequently chosen for sign, display, and exhibit fabrication because it provides a vivid brand-standard color reference. Many brand and marketing teams specify PMS 1575 C to ensure color consistency across different materials and fabricators. This standardized approach helps maintain brand integrity in high-visibility environments where uniform appearance matters. However, even with a Pantone code, color can look different depending on substrate, finish, and lighting. Sampling on your actual material and under project lighting conditions is strongly recommended before proceeding with full production to confirm appearance and acceptance.

How can I get help selecting the right paint type for my Pantone PMS 1575 C project?

If you need Pantone PMS 1575 C but are unsure about which paint type best suits your application, contact MyPerfectColor with details about your substrate, exposure conditions, and your goals for finish and durability. Experienced staff can recommend the most appropriate paint format and sheen to ensure optimal performance and the closest visual match for your branded project. This step helps avoid common issues such as adhesion challenges or unexpected color shifts on your specific material.

How does the finish affect the appearance of Pantone PMS 1575 C in real applications?

The look of Pantone PMS 1575 C can change notably depending on the finish you select. A gloss or high-sheen finish will amplify the vividness and saturation of this orange, causing it to appear brighter and more intense. A matte or satin finish will mute the vibrancy and may cause the color to look softer or slightly lighter. For projects where precise brand appearance is critical, always view samples of PMS 1575 C on your chosen substrate and with your planned finish under actual or simulated final lighting. This will help you anticipate and control how the final result is perceived.

Is Pantone PMS 1575 C paint a good choice for touch-up or repair work?

Pantone PMS 1575 C paint is intended for achieving a visual brand match on new fabrication or installations, not for touch-up or repair. If you need precise touch-up results to blend with an existing finish, it is best to send a physical part or sample to be matched directly. This approach ensures your touch-up will closely match the unique appearance of your original item, taking into account its material, aging, and sheen. Using only the PMS 1575 C code does not guarantee a seamless result in repair scenarios.

How quickly will I receive my paint matched to Pantone PMS 1575 C?
All paint is custom-made to order. While most orders ship within 48 hours, the lead-time for paint made to match Pantone PMS 1575 C depends on the type of paint needed. Interior and exterior house paints usually ship within 1 to 3 business days, while custom spray paint typically takes 3-5 business days to ship. The transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. If your need is immediate, select Expedited Production during checkout. Most expedited production orders ship within 24 hours on business days. Please contact MyPerfectColor if you are concerned about a specific deadline. We do our best to make sure you get your paint on time. Learn more about paint lead times at MyPerfectColor.
Can I use the Pantone PMS 1575 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
