PMS 1375 C is a standardized color from the Pantone PMS collection, developed for brand and identity applications requiring accurate, repeatable color reproduction. The vibe is vivid, energetic, attention-grabbing, commercial, and modern. The color's moderate lightness (LRV 46.7), strong chroma, and yellow-orange hue make it visually impactful and highly distinguishable in physical and digital displays.

PMS 1375 C appears moderately light in reflectance (LRV 46.7), providing brightness without approaching pastel territory. The color has a warm tendency, leaning strongly toward yellow-orange. PMS 1375 C displays very high saturation, resulting in a visibly intense and “clean” hue. The undertone is definitively warm, with a pronounced orange influence and a subtle yellow base. This color demonstrates finish sensitivity; gloss can intensify its vibrancy and matte finishes may slightly mute its impact.

PMS 1375 C is frequently associated with visual identity for high-visibility marketing collateral, signage, and branded display elements. This color is commonly cited for use on event displays, exhibit graphics, and corporate promotional items where immediate attention is required.

PMS 1375 C works well when high visibility and a vivid brand presence are primary objectives, such as in trade show displays, advertising environments, and branded activations. The color is especially sensitive to surface sheen—higher gloss finishes will further amplify its vibrancy and perceived saturation, while lower-sheen options will offer a softer, subtly muted look. It can require additional coats for uniform coverage due to inherent characteristics of high-saturation orange pigments. Assess the color on actual substrates under intended lighting to avoid shifts in perceivable warmth or brightness relative to similar vivid orange Pantone selections.

Similar colors:
PMS 151 C: Slightly deeper and more red-leaning, resulting in a bolder, less yellow-orange appearance.

PMS 137 C: Slightly less saturated and more muted, presenting as a softer alternative to PMS 1375 C.

PMS 138 C: Noticeably darker and more subdued, with stronger brownish undertones than PMS 1375 C.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantone™ PMS 1375 C

What safety and VOC considerations apply when using paint matched to Pantone PMS 1375 C?

Safety and VOC levels for Pantone PMS 1375 C paint depend on the specific type of product you select, such as spray paint, paint pens, or other formats. Before use, review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the product to understand ventilation, handling, personal protective equipment, and disposal guidance. Always use Pantone PMS 1375 C products in accordance with recommended safe practices to protect users and ensure compliance with workplace requirements.

How do I choose the right paint type for Pantone PMS 1375 C in interior versus exterior applications?

For Pantone PMS 1375 C, select your paint type based on whether the project is indoors or outdoors and the exposure conditions the finish will face. Interior projects allow more flexibility, but for exterior use, pick a product specified for outdoor durability and weather resistance. Always confirm that the product format you order for PMS 1375 C meets the demands of your installation environment for long-lasting, brand-consistent color appearance.

Is Pantone PMS 1375 C paint a good choice for prototypes or concept models requiring brand color alignment?

Pantone PMS 1375 C is well suited for prototypes and concept models that need to reflect brand color accurately. Choose a product format compatible with your model's substrate and application method. Evaluate colors on real prototypes under intended lighting to confirm visual accuracy, as perception of PMS 1375 C can shift based on sheen and lighting. Testing early helps avoid surprises before production or display.

What is the best way to apply spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 1375 C for a uniform finish?

For consistent results with Pantone PMS 1375 C spray paint, apply several light coats rather than one heavy layer. Allow brief drying or flash time between coats to help prevent runs and uneven color. High-saturation oranges like PMS 1375 C may need extra coats for solid coverage, so plan accordingly to achieve the intended brand appearance.

Can I use the Pantone PMS 1375 C for touch up?

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
