PMS 112 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection. The color presents an understated, functional, and natural vibe with yellow-olive undertones and a muted appearance. It is often associated with visuals aiming for a utilitarian or vintage effect, particularly in branding or display design contexts.
PMS 112 C appears as a medium-to-dark muted yellow-brown, with a numeric LRV of 22.93 indicating lower reflectance and increased depth. The color exhibits a definite warm temperature, owing to its yellow and olive tones. Saturation is moderate, with a subdued and less vibrant presence compared to more chromatic yellows. PMS 112 C often shows earthy, olive-brown undertones, especially evident in medium and low-gloss finishes. The color's muted quality may cause increased sensitivity to lighting conditions and finish, appearing richer or duller depending on the environment.
PMS 112 C functions well in branded environments or displays where an earthy, grounded tone is needed without the brightness of classic yellows. Careful surface preparation is recommended due to the moderate saturation, which may not fully obscure high-contrast substrates in a single coat. Lighting can significantly affect perceived warmth or dullness; evaluate samples under final installation conditions. Compared to more vibrant yellows, PMS 112 C is less likely to draw attention, instead supporting an understated, serviceable design intent.

Paint colors from other brands rarely match Pantone PMS 112 C exactly. Each manufacturer creates its own palette and formulas, so even if a color looks similar, subtle differences in undertone, brightness, and finish may be noticeable. For brand-critical applications, always specify PMS 112 C directly to achieve the most accurate, consistent result across all substrates and components.
Not all plastics or low-energy materials allow for strong paint adhesion. When using Pantone PMS 112 C for branded displays or components made from plastic, you may need a special primer or adhesion promoter. Plastics vary widely and some require extra testing. Always test PMS 112 C paint on your actual substrate before production runs to verify coverage and bonding.
To accurately approve Pantone PMS 112 C, compare samples under the same lighting and on the same substrate as the final installation. Let all coatings fully dry or cure before final judgment, as PMS 112 C can appear different when wet or partially set. This process reduces surprises and helps confirm brand alignment before production.

Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 112 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
