Pantone™ PMS 107 C

The perceived color of Pantone PMS 107 C can shift noticeably depending on lighting conditions. Under cool daylight, PMS 107 C appears very bright and clean, while warm light sources can deepen the yellow and make it look more intense. For brand consistency, always review physical samples of PMS 107 C under the same lighting conditions present in your final display or branded environment. This helps ensure that the chosen finish and color meet brand expectations at the actual installation site.

For PMS 107 C and other Pantone colors, sampling is essential in workflows involving brand or client approvals. Ordering a small sample allows you to check color accuracy on your specific substrate and under the lighting where the work will be seen. Reviewing a sample before full production helps identify any visual shifts or coverage concerns and supports confident signoff on brand consistency. This step reduces risk of costly rework or disappointment after installation.

PMS 107 C is highly finish sensitive. Gloss or semi-gloss finishes will increase visual brightness and intensity, making the yellow stand out more in displays or branded elements. Matte finishes will soften the color, slightly reducing vibrancy and perceived brightness. Always choose a sheen that aligns with your design intent and test a sample to confirm that PMS 107 C achieves the desired visual impact in its actual setting.

When specifying PMS 107 C for branded elements, select the paint type based on exposure conditions. For interior applications, choose products suited for cleanability and consistent appearance in controlled environments. For exterior use, opt for paints designed to withstand sunlight, temperature swings, and weather, as these factors can affect color longevity and brightness. Confirm product suitability with your vendor for either setting to maintain brand standards.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
