Pantone™ PMS 2307 U

Pantone PMS 2307 U is a color reference, not a paint product. Safety, VOC levels, handling requirements, and application precautions depend entirely on the specific paint type and format you order, such as spray paint, epoxy, or urethane.

Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the actual product you receive and follow the manufacturer guidance for ventilation, personal protective equipment, and curing conditions. Do not assume safety characteristics based on the Pantone code alone.

Sheen affects how Pantone PMS 2307 U is perceived once applied. Higher gloss finishes reflect more light, which can make the color appear brighter and more saturated. Lower sheen finishes reduce reflections and can make the same color appear softer or slightly darker.

When selecting a sheen, consider viewing distance, lighting conditions, and the substrate. If brand accuracy is critical, especially for displays or signage viewed under controlled lighting, sampling PMS 2307 U in the intended sheen is recommended before full production.

Durability for spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 2307 U depends on the paint chemistry, surface preparation, and exposure conditions. The Pantone code defines the color target only and does not specify durability, abrasion resistance, or environmental performance.

For projects with higher handling, outdoor exposure, or longer service life expectations, confirm the appropriate paint type and consider primers or clear topcoats as needed. Always match the product choice to the intended environment rather than relying on the color reference alone.

Sampling Pantone PMS 2307 U is strongly recommended for high visibility brand applications, large installations, or projects requiring formal brand approval. Lighting, substrate color, texture, and sheen can all influence how the color is perceived.

Testing a sample allows you to confirm appearance under real conditions and reduce the risk of rework. This is especially important when PMS 2307 U will be applied across multiple materials or used in permanent or high impact brand environments.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
