Yes. PMS 7541 U targets the same Pantone color regardless of finish, but sheen changes how the color is perceived. Glossier finishes reflect more light and can appear brighter or slightly more saturated, while matte finishes absorb more light and can look softer or flatter.

When evaluating PMS 7541 U, compare samples in the same finish you plan to use. A matte sample and a gloss sample can look like different colors even though they are matched to the same Pantone target.

PMS 7541 U is a light Pantone color, but like many branded colors, uniform coverage still depends on substrate and application. Lighter or uneven substrates can influence how the color appears once applied.

For best results, plan for multiple thin coats and consider a consistent, neutral undercoat to improve uniformity. Testing PMS 7541 U on your actual substrate helps confirm coverage expectations before full production.

Always order by the full Pantone code. PMS 7541 U is the exact identifier that defines the color target. The name alone is not sufficient and can lead to ordering the wrong Pantone reference.

The "U" suffix matters, as it indicates the uncoated Pantone standard. Using the complete code ensures the paint is matched to the correct Pantone PMS reference.

When applying PMS 7541 U over large areas, consistency is key. Use the same application method, maintain even overlap between passes, and apply coats at a steady pace to avoid patchiness.

Break the project into planned sections and maintain the same number of coats across the entire surface. For high-visibility brand applications, testing a larger sample area first can help confirm uniform appearance under your lighting conditions.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
