Always order by the full Pantone code, in this case PMS 7486 U, rather than relying on the color name alone.

Pantone names can be informal or abbreviated, but the code and suffix define the exact reference. The U suffix specifies the uncoated Pantone standard, which is a different target than coated versions. Leaving out the suffix or using a similar name can result in a different color match than intended.

For correct ordering, include the complete Pantone PMS code exactly as specified in your brand or project documentation.

Production lead time depends on the paint format you select, such as spray paint or another custom format, and on current production volume. Most Pantone PMS paint orders are produced within a few business days, with shipping time added after production is complete.

If your project has a fixed deadline, it is best to place the order early and allow extra time for production and transit.

Pantone PMS 7486 U is a visual color reference, not a specification for an existing coating system.

The Pantone standard does not define surface texture, sheen, film thickness, aging, or the original substrate. Because of this, even a well-made Pantone match can look different when applied next to an existing finish.

Pantone PMS colors are best used when the Pantone reference itself is the target, such as brand displays or new components, rather than for blending into previously applied coatings.

The Safety Data Sheet is tied to the specific paint product, not to the Pantone PMS 7486 U color code itself.

Once you select the paint type or format for your order, the corresponding SDS can be found in the SDS library for that product. The color does not change the safety classification of the coating.

If you need an SDS for review or compliance, make sure you know the exact paint product you are ordering in PMS 7486 U.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
