PMS 365 U is a Pantone PMS color commonly specified for brand and marketing applications where a light, natural green is needed. It conveys a fresh, clean, approachable vibe with soft brightness, gentle energy, and an eco-leaning character.
The color appears light with an LRV of 72.09 and reads as a cool-leaning yellow-green overall. It shows moderate saturation that remains clear without feeling overly vivid, and a subtle yellow undertone keeps it from appearing bluish or minty.
PMS 365 U works well in brand-facing displays, signage, and fabricated elements where a light green needs to remain friendly and visible without strong visual weight. Because it is light and moderately chromatic, it may benefit from a light-colored primer and multiple thin coats to help achieve even coverage, and finish and lighting can influence how fresh or muted it appears.

PMS 365 U is defined by a Pantone reference, not by a specific paint finish. When applied as paint, the finish you choose will change how the color is perceived. Gloss finishes tend to appear brighter and more saturated because they reflect more light. Satin finishes balance color depth with reduced glare. Matte finishes usually appear softer and slightly lighter because they scatter light.
If PMS 365 U must visually align with brand standards, the finish should be chosen early and evaluated under the actual lighting where it will be seen. Changing sheen after approval can noticeably alter the perceived color even when the Pantone target is the same.
Ordering a standard Pantone PMS match is appropriate when PMS 365 U is the visual color target specified in brand guidelines. This is common for signage, displays, exhibits, prototypes, and marketing installations where visual brand accuracy matters more than matching an existing painted surface.
A standard match is intended to align visually with the Pantone reference under normal viewing conditions. For large or highly visible projects that require formal approval, it is often wise to review a sample on the actual substrate and under installed lighting before full production.
PMS 365 U is part of the Pantone Matching System, which is a visual color standard rather than a paint formula. Most paint manufacturers use their own proprietary color palettes and pigment systems, so an exact one-to-one conversion is rarely possible.
Even if another brand lists a similar green, differences in pigments, binders, and finish can cause visible variation. For projects where PMS 365 U is the specified brand color, the Pantone reference should be treated as the target rather than relying on a cross-referenced name or number from another system.
PMS 365 U is available as custom spray paint and other paint formats for branding and display applications. Common options include spray paint for even coverage on larger surfaces, paint pens for controlled detailing, and brush-in-cap bottles for small components or samples.
The right format depends on the size of the area, the level of control required, and the substrate. Regardless of format, the color target remains the Pantone PMS 365 U reference, so testing on the actual material is recommended when appearance is critical.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 365 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
