PMS 351 U is a Pantone PMS color defined as a light, soft green with a fresh and contemporary feel. In brand and marketing settings, it conveys clarity, openness, and calm while remaining visually distinct on displays and fabricated elements.
The color has a high light reflectance value of 68.01, giving it a bright appearance. It leans cool within the green spectrum, shows moderate saturation, and includes a subtle blue undertone that keeps it crisp rather than yellow.
PMS 351 U performs well in signage, exhibits, and branded environments where a friendly, light green is desired. Because of its lightness, surface preparation and primer choice can influence uniformity, and finish and lighting conditions may shift how cool or bright the color appears when installed.
Similar colors: PMS 352 U: slightly brighter and more saturated, with a fresher green intensity.MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone™ PMS 351 U color in spray paint and other paints.

Yes. PMS 351 U is commonly used as a brand color target for signs, displays, and exhibit elements. The Pantone PMS code defines the visual color reference, which helps align fabricated components to brand standards.
For high visibility pieces, it is best to evaluate a physical sample of PMS 351 U on the actual substrate and under the intended lighting. This helps confirm visual acceptance before full production.
Plastics vary widely in surface energy and adhesion behavior. When applying a Pantone matched color like PMS 351 U to plastic, a specific primer or surface preparation step may be required to achieve proper adhesion.
Because results depend on the exact plastic type, testing PMS 351 U on the real material is strongly recommended before production. This confirms both adhesion and the final visual appearance.
Finish choice can significantly change how PMS 351 U is perceived. Gloss finishes typically appear brighter and more saturated, while satin or matte finishes can look softer or slightly muted.
Because the Pantone PMS reference does not specify finish, you should choose the sheen that matches your visual goals and review a sample to confirm the perceived color under your lighting conditions.
A standard Pantone match for PMS 351 U is appropriate when the Pantone reference itself is the required color target. This is common for marketing displays, branded signage, exhibits, and prototypes where visual brand alignment is the priority.
If the project involves large installations, multiple substrates, or formal brand approval, reviewing samples of PMS 351 U on each surface can help reduce approval risk before final production.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 351 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
