PMS 7627 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) standard color frequently used in marketing, display fabrication, and industrial design. This color is visually assertive, contemporary, and powerful, with a technical and highly saturated vibe. Its deep red tone ensures strong visibility and brand presence, particularly in high-impact visual environments.
PMS 7627 C appears dark relative to most reds, with low reflectance (LRV 10.11), resulting in a rich and intense look.
The color leans warm due to its red-orange hue angle.
PMS 7627 C is highly saturated, providing strong chromatic definition.
The undertone is distinctly red with subtle orange influence, avoiding the coolness found in bluish reds.
This color’s depth and chroma may shift slightly depending on chosen finish; higher gloss finishes can enhance its vibrancy, while matte finishes may make it appear deeper or more subdued.
PMS 7627 C is widely specified when a bold, recognizable red is needed in brand-facing environments, signage, or display components.
This color maintains its identity under varied lighting, but its darkness and saturation can be pronounced in low-light or matte applications.
When comparing to similar reds, PMS 7627 C is less muted and not as bright, making it a stable reference when a saturated, dark red is required.
For projects demanding brand alignment, evaluate samples under intended lighting and finish to confirm visual accuracy.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

The durability of PMS 7627 C spray paint depends on several factors, including how well the substrate is prepared, whether the paint is protected with a clear topcoat, and the environment where the finished object will be used. For best results, use the appropriate primer, ensure surfaces are clean and dry, and apply a clear topcoat if exposure to weather, abrasion, or handling is expected. Choose a paint formula that matches your project needs, as some paints are designed for indoor displays while others offer better outdoor resistance. Confirm finish and exposure requirements before ordering to ensure brand color consistency and long-term performance.
PMS 7627 C can be ordered in several product formats suitable for branding, display, and marketing environments. These typically include custom spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, and may also include specialty coatings such as epoxy, urethane, or interior and exterior house paint. Choose the format that best fits your application method, coverage needs, and surface type. If you require consistent color application across multiple components or materials, consider sampling on each substrate first to evaluate appearance.
PMS 7627 C can appear different across materials due to variations in substrate absorption, surface texture, and gloss level. Plastics, metals, and wood each interact with paint in unique ways that influence the final look of the color. Factors like primer choice, application technique, and lighting can also affect how PMS 7627 C is perceived. If brand consistency across multiple materials is critical, it is best to evaluate painted samples of PMS 7627 C on all intended substrates under typical lighting conditions before full production.
PMS 7627 C is intended for brand color reproduction and is not formulated for direct touch-up of unknown or previously coated surfaces. If you need to achieve a touch-up-grade match on an existing part, it is best to send a physical part for custom matching. This ensures the new coating aligns visually with the original finish and substrate. Use PMS 7627 C when the goal is to achieve brand standard color on new components, displays, or environments, not for localized repairs.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7627 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
