PMS 7604 C is a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color known for its presence in the Pantone PMS system, commonly utilized for marketing, brand identity, and display fabrication. This color presents a light, understated, and modern appearance with a neutral vibe. Its perceptual quality is grounded, balanced, and clean, making it widely applicable for areas requiring a subdued yet visually consistent finish.
- PMS 7604 C appears as a light color, with an LRV of 68.79. - The color has a slightly warm tendency, attributed to a low chroma and a hue angle in the yellow-orange range. - PMS 7604 C exhibits low saturation, further reinforcing its neutral visual role. - The undertone is soft and muted, leaning faintly toward a creamy or beige direction. - The appearance of PMS 7604 C may shift subtly with different finishes, such as gloss or matte, due to its low saturation and lightness.
PMS 7604 C is most operationally useful for brand experiences, displays, and prototypes where a light, non-intrusive background is needed to balance bolder accent or identity colors. It is appropriate in environments where brand visual alignment is prioritized and where consistency across substrates matters. Lighting and finish have a notable influence on how this color is perceived; designers should review physical samples under intended conditions. Compared to more saturated or chromatic light neutrals, PMS 7604 C offers reduced risk of color casting and supports a wide range of graphic overlays and finishes.

PMS 7604 C is a light, low-saturation Pantone color. While it is not highly saturated like some vivid Pantone hues, lighter shades can still show base colors or underlying surfaces, especially on dark or contrasting backgrounds. For brand displays or installations where consistent, uniform color is critical, applying a white or neutral primer before PMS 7604 C will improve hide and uniformity. Multiple coats may be needed to achieve full opacity, especially when changing from a darker substrate. Review your application environment to determine if priming is appropriate for your project.
Ordering PMS 7604 C as a standard Pantone match is correct when your goal is to align with a defined brand color for displays, brand-facing signage, prototypes, or marketing installations. The Pantone PMS reference ensures that everyone working on the project targets the same color standard. This approach is most appropriate when brand consistency across different materials is more important than matching a specific production batch or substrate. For large, high-visibility, or permanent installations, always confirm if a sample or OEM-approved reference is required before ordering.
The appearance of PMS 7604 C can change significantly based on lighting and finish. This color is light, neutral, and low in saturation, making it more susceptible to ambient light and finish reflections. Under warmer lighting (such as incandescent or some LEDs), PMS 7604 C may appear slightly warmer or more yellow, while cooler lighting (like daylight or cool LEDs) may bring out more of its soft, muted character. Gloss, satin, or matte finishes can alter perceived brightness and subtle undertones. Whenever possible, evaluate a physical sample of PMS 7604 C in the lighting and finish conditions of your intended installation to ensure the final result meets your expectations.
To order paint matched to PMS 7604 C, first choose the paint type or format appropriate for your application, such as spray paint, paint pen, or another offered option. Next, select the sheen or finish that fits your project needs (for example, gloss or matte). Indicate the quantity you need for your brand display or fabrication. Before finalizing, review your selections to ensure they align with your material and usage requirements, as the finish and product type can influence appearance. If you have questions about which format to use, consult your project guidelines or reach out for clarification before ordering to avoid incorrect product selection.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.
