Pantone™ PMS 7600 C

PMS 7600 C, like all Pantone colors, can appear different depending on lighting and surroundings. Because PMS 7600 C is a dark, muted reddish-brown, it may look deeper and less warm under cool or low lighting compared to bright, warm light. For best results, evaluate your PMS 7600 C sample or painted surface under the actual lighting conditions where it will be installed. Lighting shifts can impact brand color consistency, so always check samples on the final substrate and in final lighting before approving for production.

The finish you select for PMS 7600 C will affect how the color is perceived. A gloss finish can increase color punch and saturation, making PMS 7600 C appear slightly brighter but with more surface glare, especially under strong lighting. A matte finish will reduce glare, but may make this already deep, muted color look even darker. Consider where and how the brand element will be viewed: matte can help avoid reflections in close-range or directional lighting, while gloss can add vibrancy when viewed from a distance or under diffuse lighting.

For consistent evaluation of PMS 7600 C samples, always compare samples on the same substrate and allow the paint to fully dry or cure before judgment. Use the lighting that will be present in the final installation space. Small differences in texture, sheen, or lighting may affect perceived color, especially with a muted shade like PMS 7600 C. Align panels side by side and avoid cross-comparisons under mixed light or with samples in different stages of drying.

PMS 7600 C can be ordered as custom spray paint, paint pens, or brush-in-cap bottles, among other options. Choose spray paint for larger branded surfaces or displays, paint pens for detailed logo or lettering work, and brush-in-cap bottles for small projects or prototype adjustments. Consider project size, required precision, and environmental needs when selecting the format. All are formulated to help achieve color-accurate, brand-consistent results for marketing and display use cases.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
