PMS 7566 C (Pantone Matching System / Pantone PMS collection) presents as an earthy, grounded, and muted brownish-yellow. The color’s LRV of 18.24 places it in the lower end of the mid-range, resulting in a look that is distinctly deep and subdued. It is often perceived as stable, natural, and understated, with a technical quality suitable for design and branding environments where a reliable, non-flashy atmosphere is critical.
PMS 7566 C exhibits a notably dark appearance, supported by a low LRV of 18.24. The color tends toward a warm undertone, drawing from gold and earth influences. Saturation is moderate; this color avoids the punchiness of brighter yellows or ochres and reads as complex rather than vivid. The undertone appears muted brown, which can display more gold or tan depending on surrounding materials and finishes. PMS 7566 C is somewhat sensitive to finish: gloss finishes can amplify its yellow/gold aspect, while matte finishes may further subdue its warmth.
PMS 7566 C is specified where a warm, earthy, but still clearly defined color is required for branding, wayfinding, or environmental graphics. It is commonly used in contexts seeking an organic or stable visual cue that doesn’t overpower other colors in a palette. Evaluate PMS 7566 C under the same lighting and finish conditions it will encounter in final use, as perceived warmth and depth shift subtly with lighting and sheen. Compared to other muted browns or yellows, PMS 7566 C maintains more warmth and less gray, but it will appear much deeper than pale or golden yellows.

PMS 7557 C: Slightly lighter and more golden, offering a brighter and less muted appearance.
PMS 7565 C: Darker and more neutral, with less of the warm golden undertone.
PMS 7512 C: Warmer and more saturated, presenting a more intense brown-orange effect.

PMS 7566 C is specified by its Pantone PMS code to ensure visual consistency for branding and displays. While MyPerfectColor specializes in color-accurate paint matched to Pantone references, it is important to note that PMS 7566 C and other PMS colors can appear differently depending on the substrate, finish, and lighting. Highly saturated or deep-toned Pantone colors like PMS 7566 C may require more coats for full coverage and can shift in appearance with gloss or matte sheens. MyPerfectColor matches this color to the Pantone standard, but always evaluate a test sample in your real-world conditions to confirm alignment with your requirements before full-scale application.
Paint mixed to match PMS 7566 C is made to order. Most orders for formats such as spray paint, paint pens, or bottles are produced within a few business days, but actual lead times depend on product type and current production volume. If you have a tight deadline for a branding or display project using PMS 7566 C, we recommend ordering early or contacting MyPerfectColor to confirm the current timing for your specific product format.
To achieve the best brand-consistent result when using PMS 7566 C paint, begin by thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the target surface. Remove dust, oil, or residues. For most smooth surfaces, light scuffing with fine sandpaper can help promote adhesion. Always allow surfaces to dry completely. Before full application, test the paint on a small area to verify appearance and adhesion in your actual lighting and conditions. Proper prep helps ensure that PMS 7566 C delivers its intended color impact for branding and marketing environments.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7566 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
