Pantone™ PMS 2134 C

To accurately represent PMS 2134 C in a prototype or concept model, select a product format that matches your application method and substrate, such as spray paint for even coverage or paint pens for detail. Apply the coating to a sample panel made of the same material as your final part. Evaluate the dried and fully cured panel in the intended lighting environment, as PMS 2134 C can appear bluer or more violet based on ambient conditions. Be aware that high-chroma colors like PMS 2134 C often require multiple coats for full opacity, especially in lower-hide finishes.

PMS 2134 C is available as custom spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, as well as in select liquid coatings like epoxy, urethane, and house paint. Choose spray paint for fast, uniform coverage on 3D models or large displays. Paint pens and brush-in-cap bottles provide better control for small details or sample panels. For projects requiring higher durability or specific finishes, consider epoxy or urethane options, being mindful of finish changes to gloss and saturation. Always review your use case and substrate requirements before selecting a product format.

For reliable PMS 2134 C color approval, apply the coating to the same type of substrate you plan to use and let it dry and cure fully before evaluation. Compare panels in the intended lighting conditions, as PMS 2134 C may shift appearance from blue to violet depending on ambient light. Match gloss level between sample and standard, as finish differences can change the perceived color and vibrancy. Consistency in these factors supports more accurate brand alignment and decision-making.

PMS 2134 C is intended for brand reproduction on new parts, displays, and prototypes rather than for touch-up or repair work. If you require touch-up quality results on existing parts, you should send a physical sample of your part for custom color matching. This ensures alignment with your specific finish and application rather than relying on the Pantone code alone, which does not guarantee an exact match for touch-up purposes.

Unfortunately, no.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
