PMS 2007 C is a Pantone PMS system color known for its vivid, yellow-green character and pronounced chromatic energy. This color exhibits a lively, technical vibe and stands out as bold, contemporary, and impactful. Within the Pantone PMS collection, it is selected to provide clear visual differentiation and high-impact visibility, particularly in display, branding fabrication, and industrial design applications.
PMS 2007 C presents as a mid-value color, appearing neither especially light nor dark (LRV 42.9). The color shows a strong yellow-green hue, with a distinctly warm, citrus-leaning tendency. PMS 2007 C demonstrates high saturation, resulting in a bold and unmuted visual effect. It contains a pronounced yellow undertone with a green cast, making the color more energetic than a pure yellow. The color is sensitive to lighting and finish, with gloss finishes intensifying its vibrancy and matte surfaces muting its visual impact.
PMS 2007 C is often specified for brand activations, pop-up displays, and installations where strong visual presence is required. This color is sometimes used in prototype modeling and concept visualization to denote interactivity or technological focus.
PMS 2007 C functions effectively when a project requires clear, high-visibility color that differentiates a brand or draws attention to experiential features. Performance is best assessed on actual substrates under intended lighting, as color can shift toward a greener or more muted appearance depending on environmental conditions and gloss level. Compared to similar yellow-greens, PMS 2007 C generally appears bolder and slightly warmer, but may require multiple coats for uniform coverage due to its strong colorant load.
Similar colors:
PMS 375 C — Brighter and lighter, with a slightly cooler and more lime-like green presence.
PMS 382 C — Lighter and less saturated, appearing more muted and subdued.
PMS 381 C — Similar yellow-green family, but less chromatic and softer overall.

For PMS 2007 C, make sure to compare all samples under the same lighting conditions and on identical substrate materials. Allow all coatings to fully dry and cure, as color and gloss can shift during drying. Since PMS 2007 C is highly saturated, both finish and lighting can influence its yellow-green appearance. Judging color before coatings are properly cured may result in an inaccurate evaluation. Always assess final color under intended viewing conditions before signing off on approval.
The need for a primer when using PMS 2007 C depends on the substrate material, the type of paint, and project requirements. A primer is recommended when painting over bare metal, plastic, raw wood, or dark surfaces to improve paint adhesion and achieve a consistent color. If you are unsure, refer to the paint manufacturer''s primer guidance for best results with PMS 2007 C. Using a primer can help achieve a uniform, brand-consistent finish, especially for high-visibility applications.
PMS 2007 C is often specified as a standard target in fabrication for signage, brand displays, and exhibits. Specifying the PMS code ensures brand consistency and visual impact across different elements. When using PMS 2007 C, it is important to apply the color to actual project substrates and view under the intended lighting to confirm the match. This color is selected for its bold, high-visibility characteristics in many branding and marketing environments.
PMS 2007 C is a vivid, highly saturated yellow-green which may not fully cover contrasting or dark surfaces in a single coat. For most brand-facing projects, plan for at least two coats to ensure uniform color. Using a suitable white or light-colored undercoat helps achieve an even, vibrant appearance with fewer coats, which is important when consistency is critical for branding or displays.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2007 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
