PMS 351 C is part of the Pantone PMS (Pantone Matching System) collection, a widely used color matching system in branding, marketing, and display fabrication. The color delivers a visual impression of lightness and clarity, blending a clean, fresh, and distinctly modern vibe. It carries a cool undertone with a noticeable chromatic intensity, often associated with lively, energetic environments and forward-facing identity systems.
PMS 351 C appears noticeably light in value (LRV 67.99). The color has a decidedly cool tendency, typical of greens with a hint of blue. PMS 351 C exhibits moderate-to-high chroma, producing a bright, noticeable effect without appearing neon. The undertone is cool, with a slightly blue inflection that prevents it from feeling yellow or olive. The color may show sensitivity to finish and lighting, as higher gloss or intense lighting can exaggerate brightness and saturation.
PMS 351 C is effective for projects requiring a bright, cool-toned green that remains distinguishable under various lighting conditions. It performs well in branding, display, and environments that benefit from a fresh, contemporary green accent. When specifying for paint, evaluate the color on the intended substrate and finish, as gloss and lighting can amplify saturation and perceived brightness. Coverage may require extra attention, as lighter and more saturated greens can be less forgiving over dark or uneven surfaces compared to more neutral colors.

Pantone PMS 351 C is a bright, light, and cool green with moderate-to-high chroma. Because colors like PMS 351 C are highly saturated and lighter in value, they often require additional coats to achieve uniform coverage, especially over dark or uneven substrates. When planning a project that uses PMS 351 C, allow for extra coats compared to more neutral or darker colors to ensure full coverage and brand-consistent appearance.
Using a primer before applying Pantone PMS 351 C is recommended when painting over dark, porous, slick, or uneven surfaces. Primer helps achieve uniform color, consistent hide, and better adhesion. For brand installations or displays where PMS 351 C accuracy and vibrancy are critical, using a suitable primer can reduce the number of paint coats needed and improve the final appearance. Always check substrate and product instructions to determine if priming is required for your specific application.
Ordering Pantone PMS 351 C paint means you are requesting a color that matches the PMS 351 C color target as defined by the Pantone Matching System. This is a visual reference standard used for brand and marketing consistency. It does not specify a particular coating formula, finish, or manufacturing process. The goal is to create a visual match to the Pantone standard on your selected material and finish, but slight appearance differences may occur across substrates or under different lighting.
For brand projects requiring Pantone PMS 351 C, order a small paint sample and apply it to the actual substrate you will use. Review the color under the installed or specified lighting conditions as part of your approval process. Sampling helps confirm that PMS 351 C appears as expected before you commit to a full production run, which is especially important for bright and highly chromatic colors where lighting, finish, and substrate can influence the final look.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 351 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
