PMS 304 C is part of the Pantone PMS color collection, a key standard in branding, design, and marketing for ensuring color consistency across various media. The vibe of PMS 304 C can be described as clean, fresh, technical, and visually approachable while maintaining a distinctly modern appearance due to its brightness and light cyan cast.
PMS 304 C appears light in value, with strong visual brightness (LRV of 64.07). The color presents a cool undertone with a noticeable blue and green presence, reading as a light cyan overall. PMS 304 C exhibits moderate chroma, giving it enough saturation to remain visually distinct and recognizable without appearing overly bold or intense. The undertone can shift slightly between blue and green depending on lighting conditions and materials, influencing perceived warmth/coolness. Perception can be influenced by finish selection; glossier surfaces may accentuate the apparent saturation and coolness, while matte may soften the effect.
PMS 304 C is often specified in brand identity systems that require a light, fresh blue-green, especially in technology, health, and travel sectors. The color is used in display fabrication for signage, retail displays, and event environments where a clean, approachable background or signal color is needed.
PMS 304 C is specified when a project requires a distinct, light cyan that remains crisp and legible across surfaces and under variable lighting. It performs well as a backdrop or accent in marketing and brand-centric environments. When using PMS 304 C, consider that its lightness and cool undertone may be influenced by both the substrate and chosen finish—gloss can increase perceived vividness, while matte may lend a softer look. Compared to other cyan or pale blue-greens, PMS 304 C maintains clarity without veering into over-saturation or visual heaviness, but care should be taken to evaluate the color in situ to ensure target consistency.
This Pantone PMS color is defined by the Pantone Matching System standard. Evaluate the color using a physical Pantone reference and a real paint sample in the intended lighting and finish. Paint appearance varies by finish and lighting.

To achieve the most consistent results when reordering Pantone PMS 304 C paint, always order the same product type and sheen as your original order. Use the same Pantone reference as your visual standard and approve color samples under the intended lighting and finish before each run. Paint appearance may shift with different finishes or materials, so keeping these factors consistent helps maintain visual alignment for branding and display applications. If your application is especially critical, physically compare new paint with your approved sample to catch any subtle differences before use.
PMS 304 C paint is made to order to ensure accuracy to the Pantone standard. Lead time usually depends on the type of product selected and current production volume. Most orders ship within a few business days, but lead times can vary for larger volumes or specialty formats. If you are working against a fixed installation or marketing schedule, contact us early in your planning to confirm availability and production timing for PMS 304 C in your desired format.
Pantone PMS 304 C is a standardized color reference, and accurate reproduction depends on following Pantone's specifications. Using a licensed provider like MyPerfectColor ensures the paint is formulated and checked to match Pantone standards, supporting brand consistency for marketing and display projects. If unlicensed or unofficial formulas are used, the painted results may not align with Pantone PMS 304 C, increasing the risk of brand inconsistency across materials and projects.
Ordering a standard Pantone PMS 304 C match is recommended for branding, display, exhibit, and prototyping applications where the Pantone PMS reference is the required visual target. This approach works well for signs, event graphics, and concept models where the goal is to align visually with brand standards rather than matching a specific manufactured part or finish. If your project needs approval to a formal brand standard, ordering a standard match to PMS 304 C provides a practical starting point for visual verification.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 304 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
