Help With Colors on a Small House

Hello, I have browsed through your site and want to ask for information. I have looked at the following colors for an all-house interior color. This house is a very small (-1,000 s.f.) older home. I want a more updated feel in the wall paint but a color I can use aqua, some orange/red with and then in another room yellow with. As you can see I want the paint to be the unifying element so that my accent colors can pop.

I'm using a dark linen (almost charcoal in color) in the living room - yet I don't want a cool paint color even though I'm leaning toward a taupe-y/grey - greige.

Grant Beige, River Reflections, Light Pewter, Coastal Fog, Wise Owl and a SW color Balanced Beige.

What do you suggest? Is there an ap on your site so that I can see all those colors together at once? Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your question and details. Based on what you've told me, I think that you're on the right track looking for a neutral that has some beige and some gray (greige.) The colors you would be tying together are a variety of warm and cool colors, so a warm neutral would definitely not be as compatible with aqua as a neutral with more gray.

The colors you have mentioned are ones that I would have suggested to you. I can suggest a few more to sample, that might work for you:

Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter HC-172 is a very popular neutral that bridges gray and beige beautifully, without being too cool or too warm. This color does appear darker on the wall than online or in a fan deck, so you'll want to sample it in place. http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/102897_Benjamin-Moore-HC-172-Revere-Pewter

These next two colors are from Benjamin Moore's Color Stories Collection. This is an unique collection of full spectrum colors that are created with pigment, rather than adding black or white. This gives the colors more depth, so they work well with a variety of colors.

Benjamin Moore Cosmopolitan CSP-100 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/378806_Benjamin-Moore-CSP-100-cosmopolitan

Benjamin Moore Chateau CSP-140 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/378814_Benjamin-Moore-CSP-140-chateau

MyPerfectColor.com does not offer a color simulator at this time.

Hope this is helpful,
Diana

Many thanks for your help!
