Hi, Thanks so much for the photo, it really helps with your question. A dark floor will look great in there.
You do have warm neutral colors in the kitchen already, especially with the new dark floor coming in. I'm going to suggest a few cool colors that could give you the crisp look you're after. I'll also include a few warm colors, if that is the direction you'd like to go. Of course you'll want to sample the colors before committing, but this should get you on your way! Please share "after" photos here -- would love to see them.

Kitchen color
I'm trying to find a wall color that will complement my countertops that way we don't have to change them right away. As shown in the picture we have copper countertops and white cupboards. We are getting dark laminate floors put it so I'm trying to find a color that helps make the room look big and clean and crisp.
