Match of Dulux™ Illusive White *

For spray paint matched to Dulux 53668 Illusive White, expect dry-to-touch in minutes, recoating in about 1 to 2 hours, and full cure in about 2 weeks. If you are painting removable parts such as vents, hardware, trim pieces, or small fixtures, avoid heavy handling until the coating has fully cured.

Confirm Dulux 53668 Illusive White from a physical swatch or a known existing color reference, not from screen viewing alone. MyPerfectColor makes a custom match to the original brand color standard, so the color you approve before ordering should come from the same reference you want reproduced.

Coverage depends on the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you need. A typical spray can covers about 20 square feet with one coat. For larger projects, other MyPerfectColor paint formats can cover about 400 to 600 square feet, depending on the product. Rough, dark, or porous surfaces usually need more paint than smooth, prepared surfaces.

Choose the sheen based on the item, the amount of wear it will see, and how much cleanup or reflectivity you need. Higher gloss finishes are usually more reflective and easier to wipe down, while lower gloss finishes are less reflective and can hide minor surface texture better. The same Dulux 53668 Illusive White color can look different at different sheen levels, so order the finish that fits the part you are painting.

Even after you order the correct MyPerfectColor match of Dulux 53668 Illusive White, lighting, placement, sheen, and nearby surfaces can change how the finished item reads. This matters most when the painted part will sit beside existing coated surfaces or be seen under strong indoor or outdoor light. If approval is sensitive, expect the applied finish to look a little different from the swatch once it is installed.

MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the Dulux Illusive White in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.

Please note that if your material is not new then the paint may not work for touch up as your material has aged and is likely different than it was when new. While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Dulux Illusive White, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.

However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.

Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
