A match of Dulux Silver Maple is a light, soft green-gray with a faint yellow cast and low chroma. It reads more restrained than saturated, with a pale, muted character that can sit between gray and a gentle sage-like tone. Its relatively high lightness keeps it from feeling heavy.
That makes it a useful match for vents, switch covers, speaker grilles, shelf brackets, wire baskets, handrails, PVC trim pieces, mailbox parts, door hardware, and small fixture accents where a subdued light green-gray is needed. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected brand color is well suited to removable parts and smaller surfaces that can be prepped and coated evenly.
Because the color is light and low-chroma, dark or patchy substrates can show through more easily, so primer and uniform film build matter. The finish can also shift the read slightly: a glossier application tends to make the color look cleaner and more reflective, while flatter finishes can make it feel softer and grayer. On textured parts, the color may appear a touch deeper than on smooth panels.

Primer depends on the substrate, its condition, and the paint format you choose. A primer can improve adhesion and usually does not hurt, but it is not always required.
If the surface is bare, glossy, chalky, patched, or otherwise hard to coat evenly, check the prep guidance for the selected MyPerfectColor product before painting.
Confirm the color reference, the product type, the sheen, and the quantity before you place the order. MyPerfectColor is making its own paint matched to Dulux Silver Maple 44969, not selling Dulux's original paint.
Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so order carefully and make sure the format fits the project.
Choose the sheen based on how the item will be used and how much reflectivity you want. Higher sheen is usually easier to clean and more durable, while flatter sheen reduces reflection.
Because sheen changes how Silver Maple reads on the finished item, confirm the finish before ordering, especially for visible parts, fixtures, or trim pieces.
Coverage depends on surface size, texture, hide, application method, and how many coats you need. As a rough guide, a typical spray can covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other paints usually cover about 400 to 600 square feet.
If you are coating a small part like a vent, bracket, or PVC section, count the actual area and allow extra for second coats and uneven surfaces.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Dulux Silver Maple, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.
Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
