PMS 2260 U is a Pantone PMS color specified as a visual color target for consistent reproduction across vendors and materials. It presents as a clean, restrained green with a balanced, approachable feel that reads calm, modern, and lightly natural rather than bold or saturated.
The color appears light in value, with an LRV of 65.91. It leans cool with a clear green bias, shows moderate saturation, and includes a subtle neutral undertone that prevents an overly sharp appearance.
PMS 2260 U works well in brand-facing displays, signage, and prototypes where a lighter green is required without strong visual aggression. Careful surface preparation, finish selection, and lighting evaluation can help ensure the green appears even and consistent across materials.
Similar colors:
PMS 2259 U: slightly lighter and softer, with a more subdued green presence.
PMS 2261 U: a touch darker and more saturated, with increased visual depth.
Pantone 7736 U: more neutral and earthy, with less brightness and green clarity.

Yes. PMS 2260 U is commonly used as a visual color target for prototypes and concept models where brand alignment matters. The Pantone code defines the intended appearance, and MyPerfectColor produces paint matched to that reference for evaluation and presentation.
For prototypes, choose the paint format that matches how the model will be viewed and handled, such as spray paint for smooth, uniform surfaces or brush formats for small components. Always evaluate the painted sample under the same lighting where the prototype will be reviewed, since lighting and sheen can change perceived color.
To order PMS 2260 U, first select the paint format that fits your project, such as spray paint, paint pens, brush-in-cap bottles, epoxy, urethane, or interior or exterior housepaint. Next, choose the sheen carefully, since sheen affects brightness and saturation.
Then select the quantity based on your coverage needs and application method. Because Pantone matched paint is custom made to order, confirm the color code, format, and sheen before checkout. If appearance is critical, ordering a sample first is a practical step.
PMS 2260 U is a Pantone color that may be visually vivid depending on sheen and substrate. Like many saturated Pantone colors, it can have lower hide than neutral tones.
Plan for additional coats to achieve even coverage, especially over contrasting substrates. Applying a suitable base coat and testing coverage on the actual material helps avoid surprises in final appearance.
Paint matched to PMS 2260 U is custom made to order based on the Pantone reference you select. Because it is produced specifically for your order, returns or exchanges are limited.
To reduce risk, confirm the exact Pantone code, select the sheen carefully, and consider ordering a sample for review under your actual lighting and on your actual substrate before committing to a larger quantity.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 2260 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.
While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 2260 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
