PMS 7524 U is a Pantone PMS color specified for consistent visual matching across materials in branding and display contexts. It presents a deep, muted warmth with an organic, natural character that reads as restrained, stable, and serious rather than decorative.
The color appears dark, with an LRV of 16.03, and leans warm with an orange-brown directional bias. It shows moderate saturation and carries earthy undertones that soften contrast and visual sharpness.
This color works well where a subdued but intentional brand presence is required, particularly in environments that benefit from reduced glare or visual noise. Darker depth can emphasize surface texture and edge definition, so consistent surface preparation and even application help maintain uniform appearance.
Under strong lighting, warmth may become more pronounced, making finish selection and sample evaluation important for brand approval.
Similar colors:
PMS 7525 U: slightly darker and more neutral, with reduced warmth.
PMS 7526 U: darker overall, with increased depth and less openness.
PMS 7508 U: lighter and more yellow-leaning, with a drier appearance.

When applying PMS 7524 U over large areas such as panels, displays, or exhibit walls, plan for consistent coverage from start to finish. Use the same product format, batch, and application method across the entire surface to avoid visible variation.
Apply full, even coats and allow proper flash and dry time between coats. Because Pantone PMS colors are visual standards rather than paint formulas, coverage and hide can vary by substrate and finish. Testing PMS 7524 U on the actual material first helps confirm how many coats are needed for a uniform appearance.
Yes. For projects with formal brand review or stakeholder signoff, ordering a sample of PMS 7524 U is strongly recommended before committing to a full run. Pantone PMS codes define a color target, but appearance can shift based on substrate, finish, and lighting.
Evaluate the sample under the actual installed lighting and on the real material whenever possible. This allows teams to confirm visual acceptance of PMS 7524 U early and reduce the risk of rework or rejection later in the workflow.
Safety and VOC characteristics depend on the specific paint product and format chosen, not on the PMS 7524 U color itself. Always review the Safety Data Sheet for the selected product to understand ventilation needs, handling precautions, and personal protective equipment requirements.
Follow all label instructions during application and curing. If the project has specific environmental or workplace requirements, confirm that the chosen product meets those expectations before ordering.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 7524 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7524 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
