PMS 7495 U is a Pantone PMS color used as a standardized visual reference for brand and marketing applications. It presents an earthy yellow-green character that reads grounded, natural, and moderately saturated without appearing fluorescent.
The color appears medium-dark, with an LRV of 28.13. It leans warm with a yellow-biased green hue and maintains moderate-to-high saturation with a subtle earthy undertone that softens its visual impact.
PMS 7495 U works well in brand environments seeking a natural or ecological signal, particularly where darker greens would feel too heavy. It can shift under different lighting conditions, so evaluating samples in the intended environment can help confirm appearance. A light or neutral primer may help achieve more uniform coverage and color consistency.
Similar colors:
PMS 7496 U: lighter and more open, with a brighter yellow-green appearance.
PMS 7482 U: slightly darker and cooler, with increased green depth.
PMS 7737 U: deeper and more muted, with reduced yellow influence.

Yes. PMS 7495 U is a Pantone color target, not a finish specification. Changing sheen can significantly affect how the color is perceived, even when the color match is based on the same Pantone reference.
Glossier finishes tend to look brighter and more saturated, while matte or low-sheen finishes can appear softer or slightly darker. When comparing samples, a matte PMS 7495 U and a gloss PMS 7495 U can look like different colors under the same lighting. This is normal and should be considered when selecting the finish for brand-critical applications.
Sampling PMS 7495 U is recommended for high-visibility brand projects, large installations, or any situation where formal approval is required before production.
Sampling is especially important when the final color will be viewed under specific lighting, applied to an unfamiliar substrate, or used across multiple components. Reviewing a physical sample helps confirm appearance, coverage, and overall brand alignment before committing to larger quantities.
PMS 7495 U may appear different across materials because each substrate interacts with paint differently. Absorption, surface texture, and reflectivity all influence how the color is seen.
For example, a smooth metal surface may make PMS 7495 U appear more vivid, while a porous or textured substrate may soften the appearance. For projects involving multiple materials, it is best to evaluate the color on each actual substrate used in the final build to ensure visual consistency.
To order PMS 7495 U, start by confirming that this Pantone PMS color is the correct brand reference you need. Then select the appropriate paint format, finish, and quantity based on how and where the color will be used.
Before placing a full order, consider whether a sample is needed for approval or material evaluation. Making these decisions up front helps avoid reorders and ensures the final result meets brand and visual expectations.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7495 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
