PMS 7476 U is a Pantone PMS color defined as a very dark blue-green with a subdued, controlled visual character. It presents a calm, technical, and understated appearance that minimizes visual distraction and supports serious brand environments.
The color has a low Light Reflectance Value of 6.24, placing it firmly in the dark range. It leans cool with a dominant blue cast and a subtle green undertone, and its moderate chroma keeps it from appearing vivid or expressive.
PMS 7476 U works well as a grounding color in brand-driven spaces, particularly for large background areas or supporting elements. Careful surface preparation and consistent application help maintain uniform depth, and lighting and finish selection can noticeably influence how dark and contrast-rich the color appears.
Similar colors:
PMS 7475 U: slightly lighter and more open, with a clearer teal influence.
PMS 7477 U: darker and more neutral, with reduced blue-green distinction.
PMS 548 U: lighter and grayer, with a softer and less saturated appearance.

No. Pantone PMS 7476 U is a Pantone color standard, not a paint company formula. Most paint brands use their own proprietary color systems, so any crossover is an approximation rather than an exact match.
If your project requires brand accuracy, ordering PMS 7476 U mixed to the Pantone standard is the most reliable option. Approximations from other color collections can shift in saturation or brightness, especially with vivid Pantone hues.
Yes. Expedited production is typically available for PMS 7476 U and can be selected during checkout when timing is critical.
If you have a fixed delivery date, it is recommended to confirm timing before ordering. Production speed can vary by paint format and order size, so checking ahead helps avoid scheduling risk.
Pantone PMS 7476 U is a visual color target, but the final appearance depends on the substrate. Surface texture, absorption, and reflectivity all affect how the color is perceived once applied.
For multi-material projects, it is best to evaluate PMS 7476 U on each actual substrate used in the final build. This helps confirm visual alignment before full production.
Sheen directly affects how PMS 7476 U is perceived. Higher sheen levels reflect more light and can make the color appear brighter, while lower sheens can make it appear deeper or more muted.
Select sheen based on viewing distance, lighting, and the substrate being painted. When brand approval is required, testing the chosen sheen alongside the color is recommended before committing to full production.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 7476 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7476 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
