PMS 9483 U is a Pantone PMS color specified as a standardized visual reference for branding, display, and design applications. It carries a soft blue-green tone that feels clean, modern, and controlled rather than bold.
The color appears light, with an LRV of 68.01, and has a cool overall tendency. Its low saturation gives it a muted look, while a subtle green undertone keeps the color balanced and restrained.
PMS 9483 U performs well on larger surfaces where a calm brand color is preferred over a highly saturated hue. Because it is light in value, careful surface preparation and priming can help achieve an even appearance, and lighting conditions should be considered, as they can influence whether the color reads more blue or more green.
MyPerfectColor is the official licensee of Pantone and authorized to reproduce the Pantone™ PMS 9483 U color in spray paint and other paints.

PMS 9483 U is a Pantone color reference, not a material-specific formula. When it is matched onto different substrates like metal, plastic, or wood, the surface texture, absorbency, and reflectivity can change how the color is perceived.
For example, a smooth non-porous surface may make PMS 9483 U appear cleaner and brighter, while a porous or textured surface may soften the color. For brand-critical projects, evaluate the color on the actual material used in the final build rather than relying on a single reference.
PMS 9483 U paint is custom made to order based on the Pantone reference. Because it is produced specifically for your order, it is important to confirm the product format, sheen, and quantity before purchasing.
If the color will be used in a visible brand application, consider ordering a sample first. Changes after production can be difficult, so careful upfront decisions help avoid delays or rework.
Yes. PMS 9483 U is commonly used as a brand color target for signs, displays, and exhibit components where visual alignment with Pantone standards is required.
For fabricated elements, the best practice is to review a sample on the actual substrate and under expected lighting. This helps confirm that the painted result aligns with brand expectations before full production.
Sampling PMS 9483 U is recommended for large or high-visibility brand installations, multi-material projects, or situations where formal brand approval is required.
Lighting conditions and surface characteristics can influence how the color appears once installed. Reviewing a sample first reduces brand risk and helps ensure the final result meets expectations.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

To make spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 9483 U. MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 9483 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
