PMS 9323 U is a Pantone PMS color identified within the Pantone Matching System and specified as a visual color standard rather than a paint formula. It conveys a restrained, airy, and approachable character with subtle warmth and low visual intensity.
The color appears light in value with an LRV of 64.08 and reads slightly warm due to its red-adjacent hue orientation. Its low saturation softens the appearance, and a faint pink undertone distinguishes it from neutral off-whites or grays.
PMS 9323 U works well in brand environments where a light, understated color presence is preferred over bold contrast. Surface preparation, finish choice, and lighting conditions can influence uniformity and perceived warmth, so sampling on the intended substrate is recommended.
Similar colors:
PMS 9321 U: slightly lighter and more neutral, with less visible pink warmth.
PMS 9322 U: similar lightness but marginally cooler, with reduced red influence.
PMS 9324 U: slightly darker and warmer, with a touch more pink presence.

Pantone PMS 9323 U is a color reference, not a paint product or formula. Safety characteristics such as VOC content, ventilation needs, and handling precautions depend on the specific paint type you choose, such as spray paint, epoxy, or urethane.
Before use, review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the exact product you order and follow all recommended application and ventilation guidance. This is especially important for indoor brand displays, exhibits, or production environments.
When applying spray paint matched to Pantone PMS 9323 U, multiple light coats typically produce more even color and smoother results than a single heavy coat. This approach helps manage coverage and reduces the risk of runs or uneven appearance.
Allow appropriate flash time between coats based on the product instructions and ambient conditions. Exact timing varies by product, temperature, and airflow, so follow the guidance provided with the paint rather than relying on fixed time assumptions.
The finish you select can noticeably change how Pantone PMS 9323 U is perceived. Gloss finishes tend to appear brighter and more saturated, while satin or matte finishes can look softer or slightly muted under the same lighting.
Because Pantone PMS colors are visual standards, finish choice should be evaluated in the actual environment where the color will be seen. Lighting, viewing angle, and surrounding materials can all influence perceived brightness and depth.
Paint matched to Pantone PMS 9323 U is custom produced, so total delivery time includes both production and shipping. Transit time depends on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
If your project has a fixed deadline, plan ahead and allow buffer time for transit variability. Selecting expedited shipping may reduce transit time, but it does not change production requirements for custom color matching.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 9323 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
