Pantone™ PMS 333 U

Pantone PMS 333 U is a standardized color reference used to communicate a specific brand color target across vendors and materials. It helps ensure that displays, signage, exhibits, and marketing elements visually align even when produced by different suppliers.

When you order paint matched to PMS 333 U, the goal is visual brand consistency rather than an exact chemical or material formula. Final appearance can still vary based on finish, substrate, lighting, and application method, so approval samples are recommended for high-visibility brand installations.

Paint matched to Pantone PMS 333 U is custom produced, so shipping time includes both production time and carrier transit time. Transit time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose at checkout.

If you are working toward a fixed marketing or installation deadline, plan extra time for production and shipping. Ordering earlier and selecting faster shipping can reduce risk, especially for events, exhibits, or brand launches.

Pantone PMS 333 U does not have a guaranteed equivalent in other paint brand color collections. Each manufacturer develops its own palette, and cross-referenced matches are often visual approximations rather than exact matches.

This limitation is more noticeable with vivid or saturated Pantone colors. If PMS 333 U is specified in brand standards, ordering a direct Pantone match is the most reliable way to achieve the intended brand color.

Coverage per spray can of PMS 333 U varies based on surface texture, spray technique, and the number of coats applied. Smooth, primed surfaces require less paint than porous or textured materials.

Highly saturated Pantone colors may need additional coats to achieve uniform color and hide. For larger or critical brand-facing projects, ordering extra cans or testing coverage on a sample surface can help avoid shortages.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 333 U in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
