Pantone™ PMS 7525 C

The appearance of PMS 7525 C can shift depending on the lighting conditions where it is viewed. For branded environments and displays, different light sources such as daylight, fluorescent, or LED can cause the color to look warmer, cooler, lighter, or darker. Since PMS 7525 C is a muted, earthy brown with low reflectance, its visual character can be strongly influenced by the light in your space. Always evaluate a sample of PMS 7525 C in the actual lighting and finish that will be used for your project to ensure the result meets your expectations and aligns with brand standards.

A primer may be recommended when using PMS 7525 C matched paint, depending on the surface material (substrate), paint type, and environmental exposure. For unpainted wood, metal, plastics, or any surface that is porous or glossy, a primer helps ensure proper adhesion and color uniformity. Priming is especially helpful if you want to achieve the target PMS 7525 C color with fewer coats, particularly on high-contrast substrates. Consult primer guidance specific to your substrate and finish for best results in branded and display applications.

To keep PMS 7525 C looking consistent across multiple orders or project phases, always use the same product type, sheen, and application method as your original order. Color appearance can vary with finish (for example, matte versus gloss) and between batches, especially across different materials or vendors. For critical branding or display use, compare paint batches to the same Pantone physical color standard, and retain a project-approved sample as your acceptance target for future orders.

Sampling PMS 7525 C is recommended ahead of full production for high-visibility brand installations, large-scale displays, or projects where lighting, substrate, or finish could affect the final appearance. A sample allows you to verify that the matched paint aligns with your Pantone standard under real project conditions. This helps reduce risk and ensures approval before committing to larger quantities or fabrication work.

Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.

The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

The 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge how much spray you'll need as it is highly dependent on how it is applied. It is better to have too much than run short.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 7525 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, especially for a color collection like Pantone which is designed for bright colors and inks.
