PMS 3305 C is established in the Pantone Matching System collection, widely referenced in professional branding and specification work. Visually, this color conveys a serious, technical, and assertive character, with undertones that read as cool and balanced rather than warm or yellowed. The overall vibe is authoritative, stable, and refined, making it suitable for applications where strong color identification is required.
PMS 3305 C appears very dark, with an LRV of 5.09, contributing to its weighty visual presence. The color has a distinctly cool tendency, influenced by blue-green undertones. It displays strong saturation, resulting in high chromatic impact despite its low lightness. Undertones in PMS 3305 C can shift toward teal in very bright or cool lighting, revealing subtle depth. Finish selection can influence its perceived richness; matte finishes may mute its depth, while gloss can intensify saturation and hue clarity.
PMS 3305 C is often selected for projects that demand a deep, corporate green with reliable color consistency across materials. The color functions well on large surfaces and vertical elements where dark, brand-focused greens are specified. It may require additional coats on lighter substrates due to its depth and saturation. Lighting has a substantial effect—under cool or fluorescent light, the color can emphasize its blue-green qualities, while warm lighting may soften its cool edge. In comparison to other saturated greens, PMS 3305 C tends to retain crispness and doesn’t drift toward olive or yellow; however, care should be taken during sample evaluation under project-specific conditions.
Similar colors:
PMS 3298 C: Slightly darker and more muted, with a more neutral undertone and lower perceived saturation.
PMS 348 C: Lighter and notably more vivid, with a warmer green character and less blue influence.
PMS 7727 C: More chromatic and slightly brighter, trending more distinctly toward teal but less deep than PMS 3305 C.

Before ordering paint matched to PMS 3305 C, always check your brand standards or project documentation for the exact Pantone code, including any suffixes like 'C', 'U', or 'M'. These suffixes indicate the intended reference for coated, uncoated, or matte finishes and can affect color appearance and acceptance decisions. Using the wrong reference may result in a color that does not meet your visual target for branded displays or components.
A typical spray can of PMS 3305 C paint will cover about 20 to 25 square feet per coat on a smooth, primed surface. Actual coverage will vary based on how the paint is applied, the surface texture, and the number of coats required for full hide. Since PMS 3305 C is a deep, saturated green, more than one coat is often needed, especially on light or uneven substrates. For best results, estimate your total square footage and plan for sufficient cans to achieve uniform coverage with multiple coats if needed.
Ordering PMS 3305 C paint means you are selecting a product matched to the visual target defined by Pantone for that code. The Pantone PMS system is a color communication standard, not a coating formula or finish specification. This paint is produced to visually match the PMS 3305 C reference as closely as possible for branding and display use. It is not a Pantone-approved manufacturing process or ink and may look different across substrates, finishes, or lighting. Always evaluate a sample if precise appearance is critical.
For the best results with PMS 3305 C spray paint, apply several light, even coats rather than a single heavy coat. Allow proper drying or flash time between coats, following the instructions on the can. This approach helps achieve better coverage, depth, and color consistency, while also reducing the risk of drips and uneven texture. Adjust your technique based on surface type and environmental conditions.
Unfortunately, no.
Some manufacturers specify Pantone colors as touch up for their products, but Pantone does not work well as a proxy for a touch-up solution (for a litany of reasons such as it doesn't include sheen and Pantone color tolerances are not tight enough for touch up). When we match Pantone colors we are matching to a swatch in a Pantone book - not to your product.
The only way we can provide a touch-up solution for your product is for you send us a part. We would use the part to create a touch-up grade match. Unfortunately, there isn't an effective way to 'spec' the color well enough to produce a touch up without the part.

While MyPerfectColor can provide PMS 3305 C in paint, we don't provide any crossover information.
