Choose the finish based on how the item will be used, how much cleaning it needs, and how reflective you want the surface to be. A glossier finish is usually easier to wipe down, while a flatter finish reduces reflection but can be less forgiving on surface flaws.

Keep in mind that the same MSL107 Wintergreen color can look different in different sheens. If the item has to match another surface closely, the finish matters as much as the color match itself.

Heavy passes can make the finish look muddy or can change how the color reads on the final item. For the most consistent result, let each coat flash off as directed before adding the next coat.

Clean the surface first so dust, oil, and other contamination do not interfere with adhesion. If the surface is glossy or smooth, scuff it before painting so the new coating has a better chance to bond.

With metal or an older coating, rust, peeling paint, texture, and the condition of the old finish can all affect how MSL107 Wintergreen looks after it dries. A test area is a good idea when the item will be seen up close or when the existing coating is in poor condition.
