Not always. Lighting, placement, sheen, substrate texture, and nearby surfaces can all change how 275-3 Hazy Purple reads after it is applied, even when the color match itself is correct.

If the part will sit beside an existing painted surface or be viewed under unusual lighting, evaluate the finish on the actual substrate and under the real lighting conditions before you commit to a full application.
