MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to PPL-47 Sage Tint is a very light, softly muted green with a clear gray cast. It reads as a pale sage rather than a clean green, with low chroma and a calm, understated presence.
For spray applications, this color can suit vents, return grilles, switch covers, outlet plates, PVC pipe, handrails, mailbox parts, shutters, small frames, shelving brackets, speaker grilles, and hardware that needs a restrained green finish. It is also a practical choice for removable fixtures, trim pieces, and accessories where a coordinated painted surface is needed without a strong color statement.
Because the color is very light, darker substrates, uneven primer, or older coatings can show through more readily and may need additional coats for even coverage. Finish will change the read as well: glossier coatings can make the green look a bit clearer, while flatter finishes can keep the gray-green note softer. On outdoor parts, the low chroma helps the color stay subdued, but surface prep and film build still affect the final result.

Coverage depends on the size of the item, surface texture, how well the substrate is prepared, and how many coats are needed. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat. If the surface is rough, porous, dark, or needs full hiding, plan for extra material so you do not run short before the job is complete.
Confirm Behr PPL-47 Sage Tint from a physical swatch from the original Behr color or from a known existing painted sample. Do not rely on a phone, monitor, or printed image alone, because screens can shift the color. MyPerfectColor makes a match to the original brand color reference, so verifying the target from a real sample is the safest way to avoid ordering the wrong match.
Yes. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to Behr PPL-47 Sage Tint is practical for baskets, frames, shelving, brackets, signs, hardware, and other small parts where spray application is easier than brushing. It is a good fit when the item can be cleaned and prepared properly and when you want the part coordinated to the color reference on a removable or hard-to-brush object.
Choose the finish based on how the part will be used and how much reflectivity you want. Higher-gloss finishes usually clean more easily and can look more reflective, while flatter finishes reduce shine but may show wear differently. Because sheen changes the way a matched color reads, it is best to match the finish to the surrounding surface when the new part will sit beside an existing painted area.
Even after you choose the correct Behr PPL-47 Sage Tint reference, lighting, placement, nearby surfaces, texture, and sheen can change how the finished item reads. A match can appear slightly different in daylight, indoor light, or next to another finish. If the part will sit beside an existing surface and the approval risk is high, use a test application on the actual item or a similar substrate before finishing the full piece.

Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
