MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected Sico color reference reproduces Polynesian Blue as a dark, muted blue-green. It has a cool cast, low lightness, and enough green in the undertone to keep it from reading as a plain navy.
This color can be useful on spray-painted parts where a deep blue-teal needs to be carried across small or awkward surfaces. It is well suited to vents, speaker grilles, switch covers, brackets, railings, mailbox hardware, shelf supports, PVC trim pieces, and frames or accessories that need a consistent coated finish after proper prep.
Because it is a dark color, surface prep and even film build matter. Light or uneven substrates may take more than one coat to reach uniform depth, and gloss level can make texture, sanding marks, and edge wear more visible. On plastics or previously coated parts, adhesion and appearance depend on the substrate and primer system as much as the color match.

MyPerfectColor is able match all of the Sico paint colors so you can find and enjoy the colors you love. MyPerfectColor uses its expert capabilities to recreate the original Sico color by matching the original Sico color books and swatches. MyPerfectColor is not using Sico paint.
The colors shown on this website are computer video simulations of the Sico Color and may not match Sico Color standards. Refer to Sico Publications to obtain the accurate color. Please know that MyPerfectColor is matching the original Sico color. If you intend to touch up paint that has been on your walls for years, know that your color has undoubtedly changed from the original due to exposure to light and age and the new paint may not match. You will achieve best results by re-coating the entire surface.

Confirm the target from a physical swatch, sample, or an existing painted part from Sico rather than from a screen. MyPerfectColor makes a custom-matched paint based on the selected Sico color reference, so the key ordering check is whether your source really is 6003-73 Polynesian Blue. If you are matching an already painted item, remember that age, sheen, lighting, and surface texture can make it look different from the original reference.
Plastics vary a lot, so test on the actual part before you commit. MyPerfectColor spray paint is designed to adhere well to most plastics, but prep matters and a primer can improve adhesion on difficult or low-energy surfaces. If you are painting vents, covers, trim pieces, hardware, or other removable parts, start with a clean test area and use the MyPerfectColor primer when the substrate needs extra bonding support.
Choose the finish based on how the item will be used, cleaned, and viewed. Higher gloss usually gives a harder-looking, more reflective surface that can be easier to wipe down, while lower sheen reduces reflectivity and can make surface imperfections less obvious. Because gloss changes the way 6003-73 Polynesian Blue reads on the finished part, pick the sheen that fits the substrate and the amount of wear the item will see. MyPerfectColor can make a match of this color in the format you need.
The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor product and chemistry, not to the Sico color name alone. Use the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the exact product you plan to order, including a match of 6003-73 Polynesian Blue. That is the right place to confirm handling, storage, and safety details before you paint.
For a smoother result on 6003-73 Polynesian Blue, apply several light, even coats instead of one heavy pass. Hold a consistent distance, overlap each pass slightly, and keep the can moving to reduce runs, uneven sheen, and color build-up. Let each coat flash according to the product instructions before adding the next coat. This approach is useful on small parts such as fixtures, grilles, brackets, mailboxes, or other items where custom spray paint is the easiest way to get a repeatable color match.
MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use.
