Yes, MyPerfectColor spray paint can work on many plastics, but plastic materials vary widely and some are harder to bond to than others. Test on the actual part first, especially if the surface is textured, flexible, or made from a low-energy plastic.

For better adhesion, use the MyPerfectColor primer for Acrylic Enamel before topcoating. Clean and prepare the part carefully so the matched color has the best chance of holding up on the actual substrate.

The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor product and chemistry, not to the ICI color name by itself. Check the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the exact product format you plan to order.

If you need project documentation, verify the SDS for the specific MyPerfectColor paint you are buying, such as spray paint or another format, rather than relying on the color reference alone.

Coverage depends on surface size, texture, application method, and the number of coats needed. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat.

Other MyPerfectColor paint formats typically cover about 400 to 600 square feet, but rough or porous surfaces can reduce coverage. If your project is large or uneven, plan extra paint so you do not run short before the color is fully covered.

MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the ICI 863 Neon Light in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the ICI 863 Neon Light, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
