Yes. For spray application, apply light, even coats, keep the can moving, and overlap passes slightly so the color builds uniformly. Avoid heavy wet coats, which can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy look as the film builds. If the surface is unfamiliar, test on a hidden area or scrap first and follow the directions on the can for recoat timing and drying.

Choose the sheen based on how the item will be used and how much reflectivity you want on the finished surface. Higher sheen usually gives easier cleanup and a harder looking finish, while lower sheen reduces shine but can show less reflection. The sheen also changes how Ace 136-F Allyn reads on the part, so if you are matching an existing painted surface, try to align the sheen as closely as possible.

Clean the metal first, remove dirt, oils, and loose material, then scuff any sound existing coating so the new paint can grip. If there is rust, peeling paint, or contamination, address that before coating because those conditions can show through or affect adhesion.
