Match of Dulux™ Foliage *

The color reference Dulux Foliage 53518 tells MyPerfectColor what color to match, but it does not determine sheen. Choose the finish based on how the part will be used and how much cleanup or wear resistance you need. A glossier finish reflects more light and is usually easier to wipe clean, while a flatter finish reduces reflection and can hide surface flaws better. If you need a specific look or are matching an existing coated item, the sheen is a separate ordering decision and should be chosen before you buy.

The SDS is tied to the actual MyPerfectColor product and chemistry, not to the Dulux Foliage 53518 color name by itself. Look up the Safety Data Sheet for the specific MyPerfectColor paint format you plan to order, such as spray paint or another product type. That is the correct document for handling, storage, and safety information for the coating you will receive.

Plastic surfaces vary a lot, so the safest approach is to test a match of Dulux Foliage 53518 on the exact plastic you plan to paint. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but using the MyPerfectColor primer for acrylic enamel can improve adhesion and reduce the chance of peeling or poor grip. If the part is slick, flexible, or otherwise hard to coat, clean it well, prep it carefully, and test first before painting the full item.

For a match of Dulux Foliage 53518 in spray paint, use several light, even coats instead of one heavy coat. Keep the can moving, overlap each pass slightly, and hold a consistent distance from the part so the coating builds evenly. Heavy passes can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy-looking color build. If the color is not covering evenly, add another light coat rather than trying to force full coverage at once.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.
