Coverage depends on the total surface area, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you need. For spray paint, a typical can covers about 20 square feet with one coat. If you are coating items like vents, trim pieces, pipes, hardware, or small fixtures in Dulux Breakers, add up the area of every part you plan to paint and allow extra for a second coat or for rough surfaces.

If the project is not a spray-paint project, other MyPerfectColor paints typically cover between 400 and 600 square feet, but the actual coverage still depends on the surface and application. For Breakers, plan conservatively if you are coating plastic, textured, or uneven parts.

Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so confirm the Dulux Breakers reference, the MyPerfectColor product type, the sheen, and the quantity before you order. This matters most when you need Breakers on a part that must coordinate with an existing painted surface.

Before placing the order, make sure you are choosing a match of Dulux Breakers in the correct format for your project, such as spray paint for small parts, fixtures, or removable items.

Finish changes how reflective the coating is and can change how Dulux Breakers reads on the finished item. The color reference tells MyPerfectColor what to match, but the sheen you choose affects the final appearance on the substrate.

If you are painting a removable part, fixture, or accessory in Breakers, pick the finish that fits the product and then expect the same color to look a little different in gloss versus matte because the surface reflects light differently.

Primer depends on the substrate, its condition, and the paint type you are using. A primer never hurts and can improve adhesion, but it is not always required before applying a match of Dulux Breakers.

If you are coating a bare, repaired, or difficult surface, primer is usually the safer choice. For projects like pipe, trim, vents, hardware, or other small parts, check the prep guidance for the selected MyPerfectColor product before painting Breakers.

Plastics vary widely, so testing on the actual material is important before painting with a match of Dulux Breakers. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but adhesion can still vary by surface type and preparation.

If you want better adhesion on plastic, use the MyPerfectColor primer for Acrylic Enamel before applying Breakers. That is especially useful for items like covers, grilles, fixtures, and other small plastic parts where a durable result matters.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.
